Don't Forget To Remember

Picture
The Arts Management Programme of LASALLE College of the Arts is proud to present i-AM, an annual arts festival conceptualized and organized by the Year 2 students of the Programme, and directed and produced by the School of Arts Management.

As part of the i-AM 2012 Festival, Don't Forget to Remember is a multi-artist exhibition that focuses on capturing and preserving transient and intangible memories through tangible visual art, held from 1 March to 9 March 2012 at The Arts House's Print Gallery.

Featuring notable young Singaporean artists Hafidz Senor, Izziyana Suhaimi, Kamarule, and TR853-1, Don't Forget To Remember serves to introduce the public to contemporary art with a slant, rooted in tradition and history.

In conjunction with Don’t Forget To Remember and the theme of Memory, an outreach programme “Insights on Alzheimer's Disease and Art Therapy” is specially planned for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s Disease. Three guest speakers will share their invaluable Alzheimer’s-related knowledge and experiences during the talk, while the Art Therapy workshop gives caregivers a novel and practical approach in tackling this condition.
