Spot Art 2014

SPOT ART is a premier platform that puts an in-depth survey of the diverse art scenes in Southeast Asia on the global contemporary art map through an annual competition and exhibition. Each edition brings the finest contemporary art created by artists under the age of 30 together with renowned curators and collectors in a winning and dynamic way.

As a nonprofit collaborating with a robust network of top art universities and institutions throughout the region, SPOT ART is able to offer an engaging and thorough survey of emerging works driven by the premise that education and curatorial rigor enable excellence and sustainability. Our open call engages graduates and associates of premier art universities with a demanding selection process by distinguished art experts to ensure each annual edition showcases works of the highest standard. The result is a high quality exhibition that strengthens relationships between artists, communities, institutions, collectors and arts professionals in Southeast Asia.
