and to my love, thanks for being a good traveling partner and here's to more trips to come! Love you babe!
Welcome to Perth! More like welcome back to Singapore. It's crazy how I managed to push everything and completed everything I have to submit before flying off for a week vacation. This just proves that I can do anything! well, almost anything. Anyway, back to the trip. We scoot off to Perth. Always hate turbulence and there was none of it. Phew! Perth was beautiful upon the first sight! Maybe cause I was with my love. Chef Edy make us homemade burger over the grill. Real grill. I think the important part of a burger is the bread. The bread decides is the meat is nice, the bread decide if I'm full. So for the first official day, we went for breakfast at Toast. And Perth looks amazing in the morning! Good Morning! This is Toast. A very expensive and nothing special about it breakfast. Haha. The bread was super hard. This is me, being a nosey about their country's news. We were all in stripes, yes we look like we ran from Jail and that jail is Singapore and I need to break out from the jail forever and be a free man! Went to a super nice, super hipster place called Gordon St. Garage. Super friendly staff and super nice place and did I mention, super hipster? The cafe is way nicer and much better than Singapore. This was super delicious! Went to Harbourtown for some outlet shopping and had Japanese for lunch! Udon was good. Went to Kings Park afterwards. It was super cold and I was wearing my shorts and no jacket or whatsoever. Bad feeling but the beautiful scenery and one of a kind experience was keeping me warm! Had picnic with the wonderful people of Perth! Introducing Mr Lee and Mdm Rosita. Look how beautiful the night skyline is! This picture was taken with a longer shutter. The next subsequent day, we went to the touristy Fremantle! Fremantle harbor, fremantle market, fremantle museum, fremantle everything! Standing on the track automatically makes me cool. Beautiful baby in a red sweater! Wow! Inspiration from Murad Osmann. You can bring me anywhere you want. Self timer is awesome! In the best churros place in town, San Churros! That orange cup is called Hot & Cold! How appropriate! Then back to the Fremantle Harbour. Very nice place with fishing boats docking like its permanent. Then it was back to the Lee's where we had dinner. I help with the bbq of these chickens. A beautiful house with a beautiful garden. This is what a home should be. The next day was Easter Monday and so we went to Hay Street, to shop! That is like their Orchard Road, except with no big malls but rows of shops and boutiques. #istandonit in front of the entrance of the London Court. Hahaha Inside of London Court. Dewi & Mike took us to dinner, we went to the suburb of Leederville. A happening place as well. Had Italian and I had Tortellini stuffed with baby goat. On tuesday, we went on a road trip to the south of Perth. Dunsborough! a 3 hours ride. Stop by at Busselton, to walk the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere. Another self timer group photo! I'm the odd one out without shades. Look how long it is! That's what she said! Outfit of the day. With my self made t-shirt! Represent yo! Oh you know, just jumping beside some passerby's. I think jumpshots is a must for any vacation that we go. After returning back to dry land, we had Mee Goreng and Fish & Chips for lunch by the sea. Yummy. Look Ma! I caught a fish! But it's not mine! Our hollywood walk of fame sand wordings. haha Drive further down to Dunsborough and stayed at a motel. Had tea at this place. They even have chocolate tea! Drive to Castle Rock! Beautiful beautiful place! Nat geo place! Sunset was perfect! I managed to go down to take some long shutter shots. Stayed for a while there till it's a bit dark and went back. I like my sweater, there's eyes all around! The next day, I got the chance to drive! I drive us to the Natural something light house. We are like on our honeymoon right babe? haha It was interesting to get a chance to go up the light house and learn a thing or two about it. This is castle beach. Stop by Cowaramup for a while to get some stuffs and look I milked the cow and turn it into Ice Lemon Tea! Off we go, but first, let me take a selfie. We went to another beautiful place, called Canal Rocks, similar to Castle Rocks, but this time there's like waves hitting the rocks and god it was beautiful! I drove half way back to Perth city and I peed in the middle of nowhere. On the friday morning, we went to the Crawley boat shed. Nice place. Went to UWA to take some pre wedding photos of us. Went to the famous Cottesloe beach and the water was super cold! Had coffee at Lido Italian Canteen, which cost 4.50 per cup! After friday prayers at the mosque of rockingham, we drove to Mandurah to take the Dolphin Cruise but sadly, there's no dolphin in sight! Sigh! For our night in Perth, we had Jus Burgers, the best burger in town! Look at the size of it! We shared and we were full! On the last day of my vacation, we went to the galleries and museums that i always been wanting to go since day one. I guess the wait was worth it as there were good stuffs inside the galleries. How I wish I can stay longer in Perth. I really like it there, actually I like it anywhere other than Singapore. The weather is perfect for someone who like to sweat like me. I would to dedicate this post to Mr. Edy and family for being a good host to me, you guys were awesome! Thank you for everything!
