It's time to go home. It's time for a home run. It's time to score the touch down. It's time to dunk it hard. It's time to score a goal. It's time to hit it hard. It's time to put it in the hole. It's time I learnt my lesson. It's time I have enough sleep. It's time for me to do draw!
Archive pictures from my london trip last year which I overlook to share.
How's school have been for me so far? Hmmm, it's going quite well I suppose except for 1 module which I don't like which is perfectly normal for everybody right? I mean there will always be that module where everybody hate and mine just happen to be Drawings. I just can't draw for nuts and of course, I'm trying very hard and I really think I can draw but actually I can't draw. For the rest of the classes, I think I'm doing fine and I enjoy most of the modules since I'm actually studying what I love which is art, design and media. I want to make changes to the art scene is ADM and it's going to happen real soon, not so soon but not that far neither. It's in between Next month till next year, I hope.
Above is the photos I took for 4D module that we need to use the prop to tell the different style of photographs that we are taking. I think our group had the strongest concept and execution though. If ever my classmates ever read this, don't worry, it's over. haha.
The big 2-3. As we look forward to our future, we leave some memories behind as souvenirs, follow the yellow brick road and it'll lead you to a place where rainbows are aplenty in 10 colours. You're my every colour in this world and you can colour me like a colourbook and paint me like a used canvas with your new direction and concept.
Looking great my strawberry bubblegum.
Are bread suppose to be that hard? That's why soaking in soup was invented.
A happy girl is a girl carrying her own birthday gift! Heehee.
PS Cafe at Palais. Palais is actually Palace in French. Shoot, I should have thought that!
This mountain of fries here, takes alot of courage for two of us to finish it. If this war, then I think we lost because we couldn't finish it. PS Cafe have the best drink ever! Honey & Lemon were soothing and comfortable in my mouth. Their hot chocolate is awesome too!
So what am I doing in life you ask? I'm living it and I begin to learn slowly that life is about looking at the bright side of things even in difficult times. Thank you Juraida for being there and you been a great help in my life direction.
Day two falls on the National Day and so it's called Happy National Raya Day! Celebration would be incomplete without a, of course, a cake. Like I mention before, cake is a symbol of wealth and happiness which dated back in the 15th Century. So here's one big cake and 2 big candles and 3 small candles to represent the Birthday of Juraida! Advance celebration is always early than never right. So that day, we celebrated life, celebration of the living and the privilege to breathe and live each day the way we want it, so here's a toast to the appreciate-life! Blow out the candle and make a wish that might happen.
Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslims around the world, in every corner of the galaxy and universe. As ramadhan is all about discipline and controlling our hunger for more, usually syawal is where they let it out. It shouldn't be this way. It should be about maintaining that discipline that you've picked up in the fasting month and continuing it to the next. A day with mixed emotions, Hari raya is practised by visiting one relative's house and seek forgiveness they've done to you for the past one year, and this cycle continues. It's funny how I see it because, for the past year, I don't even see you thrice and we don't talk or communicate, so how can you seek forgiveness from each other if there's no interaction even being done? Now that is not how it should be the way. Instead, let's make a month of Syawal the every month of the year. This way, we are able to see our relatives and family members more.
In other words, blue was the colour and black kills the spider.
Happy National Day to my country. A place where I was born unknowingly without a choice. I guess that's the beauty of getting brought into this world, a random act of play of location and country in this instance. Anyways, 48 years old is still young and look at how far we've come, from a fishing village to fishing girls at a certain 'village'. Singapore, the name where Hollywood movies try to squeeze into their script, proves that we are no longer just a small tiny red dot in China. Thanks Jerry Bruckheimer for acknowledging Singapore's importance as a trading port back in the days and Chow Yun Fat, you did an excellent job in delivering that line. In Ocean's Thirteen, the Godfather, Al Pacino speaks to his female assistant about the Five Diamond Awards that his chain of hotels never fail to win. No we don't have the Grand Saphir, but we have Marina Bay Sands and Resort World Sentosa Mr Corleone. Come here and play if you're feeling lucky. We up all night to get lucky.
Today, I fell victim to fever. I am also a innocent bystander who got hit with a cough when all I tried to do was to help myself with the nuttella bites. The body works wondrous ways and even a doctor couldn't fathom what will happen in the human body in a instant. I can't swim but I am comfortable in the waters in the length of a fathom. The phantom phenom, the undertaker, giving me a chokeslam down to the ground, that's how I feel now, all drained up and feeling a very mild sore throughout the body. When I put the back of my hand on to my neck, all I feel is warm, heat emitting from my body, however the heat is little, between the temperature of 37.7 to 37.9. As I got about 20 minutes till I am able to break my fast, I am going to withstand this setback with a laugh and I shall look forward to pop 2 paracetamol and chew some benzydamine for the throat. That's what she said.
Bro, I think you should be able to do what you want and whenever you want in life. If you feel like going to Mustafa and buy a casio watch, then I think you should.
I would like to start with a happy birthday shout out to my mom. Mom, you're the most hardworking women ever. I don't know how I would do without you ma. With that aside, let me welcome you to the month of Ramadhan where the muslims practice one of the pillars of Islam, fasting. Fasting do have its benefits. It keep you alert and make you realise that we don't have to eat that amount of food everyday on a daily basis but instead, all we need is a bite or two and I'll be full for a day. Nowadays, a small portion of food is all I need during iftar and I be comfortably full and not having a tummy. I hate tummy, and I hate a tummy when it won't go slim after an hour or two.
Today is the 3rd of August and when midnight, it will be the 4th of August. That means 4 days to Hari Raya Puasa and that brings me closer to the opening of school. As much as I look forward for my first day and wanting my mom to send me to school, I hate the feeling of all the expenses that I will have to incur during my time in school. Not to mention, getting a bursary is a chore especially when you dad is not helpful at all. I will have to take matters into my own hand. By hook of by crook or by cock, I will have to get this bursary and a new Macbook.
