New York City was awesome! Something like in the movies and not totally like in the movies.
We were in New York recently. We refers to my life companion and i. We start our trip with a trip to Hell's Kitchen for the Hell's Kitchen flea market, happening only on weekend! The New York Times newspaper company. Halal Food carts were everywhere! we couldn't resist getting a hotdog! At Sweet Chick in lower east side. that sound so hipsterish! We had good waffles and good atmosphere. Took the Staten Island ferry to get to Staten Island but the real objective is to actually see the Statue of Liberty. New York City was awesome! Something like in the movies and not totally like in the movies. SOHO, where the shopping never stops but it will stop when our money drops. Times Square was pack with human traffic! and I don't mean it in a good way! It's like everybody from every part of the world was here! Its really hard to move around. This is at Lexington Avenue. Next to Bloomingdales, one of the shopping places to go to. Breakfast was from Magnolia Bakery! Sweet treats for ourself in the morning. The cupcakes was good but their banana pudding was better! Right after MoMA, we got to get our Halal Guys fixed! Gyro over rice was delicious and spicy, just the way we asians love it. How could anyone miss Grand Central Terminal? It's massive in size and presence. It'll be nice to have a wedding shoot there actually. Look at this beautiful lady down there, sitting down at the steps of the New York Public Library. We never expect the subway to be what it is. It's really hot and humid down at the platform. Plus, there's like different train line on one platform, so it was pretty crazy. View taken from the brooklyn bridge. now I understand why no one likes rainy days. The Metropolitan Museum is damn huge and I'll definitely spend a day here if I'm in NY again next time. Walking down museum mile. You're not in NY without looking at the city from The Top Of The Rock! The view was breathtaking! We can see the whole of Manhattan from here! Look at that triceps! It's really really beautiful from up here! It's really a pity that the WTA tennis park was close cause they setting up for the upcoming US Open. We went all the way east of queens but regardless, at least we tried babe, we tried. Central Park, definitely a must go to places when one is in NYC. Actually, the whole of NY requires a lot of walking, definitely not for the faint hearted. I'm so gonna spend more time in Central Park next time! A park in a busy city makes central park unique. In DUMBO. Where the buildings framed the manhattan bridge which frames the empire state building Brooklyn Bridge on a bright sunny day! The Flatiron building at the Flatiron district. Dinner at Burger & Lobster. There are only two outlets in the world, one in london and one is nyc. We say goodbye to New York City but soon, we will be saying hello again.
